TECHNOLOGY

At St. John's we are committed to keeping our students on the cutting edge of technology. Throughout the school there are upwards of 60 desktop computers linked through a high speed internet connection. Our computer lab consists of and additional 30 networked PC's with LCD monitors.

Technology doesn't stop at the lab. We have a traveling wireless classroom that consists of 24 IBM laptop computers. Teachers use these laptops in their classrooms to continue the stream of technology in education.

Additionally, we have two SMART Boards currently in use at our school. SMART Boards are interactive learning devices that encourage learning and excitement in the classroom. Our plasma screen overlay in the science lab allows students to view things from our electronic microscope on a large screen.

Our students work with educational software as well as commercial packages such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Quark, Microsoft Front Page and Publishers.
