Posted on 04/24/2018

In order to understand SJA, one must understand the students who make our school special. Therefore, we would like to begin a series of web articles entitled “Meet an SJA Student.” It seems appropriate to begin this web series with a current eighth grader, Brain Maron of Oradell, New Jersey.

On behalf of Saint John’s Academy, it is is a privilege to announce that Brian has been named our school’s Outstanding Catholic School Graduate, a prestigious award presented by the Archdiocese of Newark.   This is the second year that this award is being presented.

Brian has been a part of the Saint John’s Academy family from the time he entered sixth grade. He has been an extremely active member of both his parish and school.  Brian brings tremendous passion and a real love for learning to everything that he does.

Academically, Brian achieves in the top percent of his class.  Brian is consistently on the honor roll here at SJA which is based on his excellent grades and upstanding character, thus earning him membership to the National Junior Honor Society.

Get to know Brian better through the video that follows where he sits down with assistant principal Sharon Gallagher to share his experiences at Saint John’s Academy.
