Financial Assistance

SJA is committed to making Catholic education attainable for families who wish to have their child attend Catholic school but may find the full cost of tuition a struggle.

In the summer of 2017, the SJA Tuition Assistance Fund (TAF) was established. We are proud of the money raised that allows us to help parents provide the Catholic education they desire for their children.

To qualify, students must show financial need and good citizenship. An application can be made at any time for consideration. Please contact us to arrange an appointment to discuss your unique situation with the principal.

Assistance Opportunities

Did you know that our archdiocese will also provide need-based assistance? All students of SJA that need financial assistance are encouraged to apply.

  • Applications are open from February 1, 2023 until April 30, 2023.
  • See instructions and FAQ (English and Spanish) to learn more.
  • For more information on the SFIC, visit the SFICNJ website

The Robert F. and Marilyn A. Miller Catholic Education Foundation offers tuition assistance to students with demonstrated financial need who are currently attending a Catholic grammar school within the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ.   Please visit The Miller CSE Foundation for additional information.

The Emla Rimelspacher Scholarship Fund provides grants (maximum award:  $600 each year) to deserving students to help them meet the costs of education. For more information, please contact our tuition manager/registrar, Mrs. Penny Jackson, at 201-664-6364 ext. 14.
